hi, I'm new here. I have been dealing with horrible social anxiety for a few years now because my ex was abusive and extremely controlling. I wasnt allowed to go anywhere without him and when we were in public he would make fun of me. After 6 years of someone constantly treating you like that, you start to lose your trust for everyone. I guess id just like to know that someone understands what I'm going through and that I'm not alone.
