Tips for Dealing with Cymbalta and Gabapentin Side Effects?

Ask for a script of ondansetron, my meds make me sick to my stomach too, so I take 8 mg of ondansetron every morning before my meds. It’s been a life saver! It also helps to make sure I eat before my meds, but not for a few hours after

Did they do it slowly or all at once? I know when I started on gabapentin and they increased my dose I had to go very slowly because it made me very nauseous.

How much gabapentin are they starting you out on?

Cymbalta is usually hell the first two weeks for most people and then you’re fine or it gets worse which is what happened to me. Gabapentin going to make you feel a bit drunk at first. How showers and baths got me through but I’d ask your doctor if you can add them one at a time instead of both and the same time. That’s a hell of a shock to your system. At the very least ask for some anti nausea meds
