Controlling Anxiety at Work as a Cashier

I have fidget jewelry! I wear a ring on the thumb of my non dominant hand so I can fidget while I work my register with my dominant one, a discreet chewy necklace, fidget bracelets, and I even have anklets that jingle so when I tap my foot I can focus on the jungle noise when not making small talk or handling a transaction.

@Hope26 I am glad to know I am not the only one like that. I am going to be doing home health work where it is one on one.. that seems to help me a bit.

Dude, totally feel you! I work at the bmv and I spend all day dealing with grumpy customers. I've only snapped once... which lead to a stern talking to by management.
