I really need to get to an endocrinologist since I've been suffering from chronic fatigue diagnosed at age 20. I'll be 55 october 23rd and back when I was growing up depression and anxiety wasn't spoken of really, a great stigma less now but not gone. I know both mental and physical health goes hand and hand and really it doesn't matter what causes what. The genetics we have we just too especially if there is a mutation somewhere. as my family has. no matter, u just gotta deal with ur health in a somewhat decent and positive way or nothing good can really be. anyway, as u are people get different conditions . what u do in ur environment in ur behaviors may better or worse ur condition/ situation. so what I want to say is this crap health insurance whether u have or not , pay alot., or not , ur not getting the preventative care needed, not alot of docs take the plan, like ur primary refers you to the endocrinologist like they did for me, I call they don't take ambetter which we still pay over 300$/ month. still too high for a 1 income family of 4. and so i/ we get sicker rather than getting the well care we all deserve. anyone feel this????? anyone in frustration with the system as I am / we r. and if so why aren't any of us brave enough to get together to fight this freaking horrible heakthcare system which benefits the rich. I mean doctors aren't perfect but if u have bucks u can at least get help at ur fingertips! and now I may need cataract surgery. geeze Louise ps. and this metformin crap isn't working for my type 2 diabetes. after 7 yrs I figured with rising a1c and sugars in the 2's and 3's . diet / exercise same. I try to balance my diet I go back and forth cutting out alot of sugar then I'm guilt of eating my pizza/ carbs and desserts. I'm in menopause I'd say and see how 2-3 years ago my a1c was between 6-7. now it between 10-14. ? my sugars back in 2015 at a few visits to doc was around 180 . better than now. I really want the root cause of my diabetes which I may or may not get buy I'm sure hormonal changes have something to do with it and I choose no insulin. first things first an endocrinologist that I can relate and who is knowledgeable would be nice.

I'm seeing a endo currently and taking Mounjaro, jardiance and glipizide. I like my endo doc and nutritionist. New to the whole diabetes 2 now. 1 year currently. Never was aware of how many health issues go hand in hand with mental health also. Finding it all frustrating.
I’m the same just turned 55 in july
