      No you’re not destined to be alone forever, dating nowadays is like a bloody full time job, it’s tough out there! My friend thought he was destined to be alone forever after a string of ghosting scenarios, but now he’s happy in a relationship with a wonderful guy. It’ll happen when you least expect it, keep your chin up xx

      It might be worth joining a friendship app, I recently went on one as I was feeling a bit lonely and it really helped I now have more people to talk to that are like me and have the same interests. I’m here if you want someone to talk to

        @Billiett see that's the weird thing like I have TONS of friends so I'm always hanging out with people but I still feel so lonely? Like my cup is full in the friendship department but I feel so alone when it comes to the relationship department.

      Unfortunately, I'm having the same experience. I make a thing of making it perfectly clear what my conditions are, as I have multiple relationships and marriages end as a result. This was before I was diagnosed (I was only diagnosed last November, and I'm 31) I'm not sure if learning of your difficulties and conditions puts them off, or intimidates them. I can only speculate. I will say though, there is absolutely someone out there for everyone. You may not have found them yet, or you might have already met, who knows. You really need someone who is going to accept you for you, and may not necessarily understand what you're going through, but can empathise with your struggles and difficulties. You definitely need that, and I think it's much better to be alone for some time, and find that person who cherishes you for you. I hope this helps, even just a little bit. Because I know life can seem hopeless, and overwhelming a lot of the time. Keep your chin up, and keep going. You've got this 😀

      Don't take it personally. I would say don't try to be in a relationship anymore. Try instead to meet new people enrolling in courses, art classes, cooking classes, dancing classes, hiking groups... Whatever you are interested in. I have been in a group walking their dogs and I don't have a dog hahaha. Dating Apps are a jungle. There are good diamonds on the market but they don't like dating Apps either. I met my husband in dancing classes 3 years ago.

      We’re a social species. Self soothing can only take us so far. Keep breathing and keep living. It’s (un)fortunate we have emotions to communicate with our fellow humans

      I’m in the same boat. I’ve been trying to convince myself that I’m okay with just being on my own and making myself happy nothing ever works out 😥

        @Katharina same!
