Dealing with Severe Nerve Pain: Coping Strategies Needed

In so much severe nerve pain tonight but no one in my family understands it or gets how intensely a 9 hurts so I'm just laying on the floor crying with my cat trying to make me feel better. not trying to have a pity party but I'm sure someone on here knows how It feels to feel alone in your pain and have days where just breathing hurts. I have nothing for pain. I do stretches. but laying on the hard floor really feels the best. legs are so restless can't sit in chair very long. please tell me how to cope with this on the bad days. what do you do for severe sciatica nerve pain.
