Struggling with Family Changes and Loss

I'm very sorry, change is really hard. What I try to do when a big change is ahead of me is to focus on what hasn't changed and to think back on times things changed and good things came of it. Think about when you first got your golden retriever, for example. Turn to your comforts. Your favorite shows, favorite foods, maybe you have a favorite game or book or album. Take comfort in things that haven't changed. Maybe you have a favorite restaurant or library or friends house that's still the same that you can go to. When you feel more comfortable, maybe start thinking about the fun new things you can do. Think about how you want to decorate your new room, Think of new traditions to do with your parents individually on holidays. It will be ok, I promise. But it's ok to not be ok for a while

Change can be super hard, but I have found my animals have absolutely saved my life. Let your pup love you through the changes. Our pets are our constant. ❤️
