orchitis is an inflammation of the testes. Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis, a curved structure at the back of the testicle that stores and carries sperm. Orchitis and epididymitis are commonly present together.

* easing symptoms with pain killers, anti-inflammatory medications, bed-rest, elevating the scrotum and applying cold compresses.
