Support worker, and have been a teaching assistant. Keeping busy and active helps me

Depending on how severe your cataplexy is... I actually like working jobs where I'm up and walking around because I'm way less likely to fall asleep when I'm constantly moving.

this! If I'm not moving I WILL fall asleep. The thing is that my degree is in Graphic Design, and that doesn't allow for much movement

I own my own business, so I can schedule certain breaks into my day that allow me to make it through. Overtime, I've learned the difference between being busy and being productive. Also, my firm is remote, which makes things much easier.

I also struggle keeping jobs, because my energy doesn't last me a whole day. I'm currently looking for job, but even getting one is very hard, as I sleep for most or the day and also at night.

yes me too!! I just lost my last job because I called in too often, according to the manager, but I was just so exhausted all the time.

been there, they think it's laziness or lack of commitment with the work. I've been thinking of getting a work from home job, but I think that being at my house will not help keep me awake

I'm work part-time as an early years practitioner. I too cannot drive. I need an active job, there's no way I could do an office type job.
