Hey guys I just want to vent to someone thats all. okay so I moved 2 states over from my home state to live with a friend and her bf, they ended up using me and my partner for our money and are now kicking us out when we barely have enough money to move, also my birthday is literally in 2 days and I'm terrified. I'm going to spend my 21st birthday homeless. also the cats they have, gosh they abuse and neglect them and I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to leave them behind but I don't want to get into legal trouble should I call animal control and explain the situation. I'm not sure what I should do at all I'm scared. my family won't answer my calls so I'm at a complete loss and we couldn't even find a job here because the roommates ruined every chance we got. I'm terrified I'm at a loss if I didn't agree to move here after she begged me too I wouldn't be on the verge of being homeless, I did set up a gofundme but no one cares enough to donate or share it besides 2 people sharing it. I'm sorry this is long but I wanted to get this off my chest and not have it bite me in the ass. some of my friends are friends with the shitty roommates and I have a past where my friends will go behind my back and tell the people what I said.

I've been in your situation before and actually did become homeless for a time. I almost became homeless again bc of family I thought I could trust. Your best bet is to see if you can stay at a motel for now. Start applying for jobs. Everywhere is hiring right now desperately and needs people to work. Then when you can save up enough you can move into an apartment or house. You gotta take a deep breath and take a step back. Look at the situation then take one step at a time. As for the animals if you call and give an anonymous tip about the animals you won't have to be involved. Animal control will go and take care of it.

http://findhelp.org here’s a link to a website with loads of resources, type in you zip code and it can show you things like food pantrys and homeless shelters in your area. And since you don’t have a job/don’t make a lot of money you may be eligible for free legal representation if needed. Just so you know. Best of luck!

@BluWolfe19 thank you so much, I spent 2 months looking for a job straight but only 4 got back with me and my roommates kept causing us not to go to the interviews because something would always come up with them and they would beg us for help. She took advantage of our history together and keeps bringing up her mother's passing. You've been alot of help I appreciate the advice, I will mention that I plan to take in one of the cats, can i do that legally or should I just let him go? I already took him to the vet because he was so underweight and looked sickly

@vampwife It's no problem. I completely understand your situation. And legally you can take in one of them. Especially if you have been taking care of it already. And with the jobs, as long as you don't have them holding you back anymore you'll be able to get to those interviews and work. It's unfortunate that there are people in the world like this however not everyone is like this. You just have to keep your head up and keep pushing forward.
