I'm not actually sure if this is an anxiety thing that's why I'm asking on here. my throat hurts but only when I swallow and my voice cuts out occasionally. last month my voice kept disappearing anytime I got really stressed out and that stopped but now my throat just hurts constantly. so I'm not sure if it could be vocal stress or something like that it doesn't appear to be because my voice is usually okay when I talk sometimes it's hoarse but it was only occasionally it was hurting and now it's everyday. so any ideas or tips on how to help would be much appreciated.

One possibility could be vocal cord dysfunction, which can cause a choking feeling and hoarseness when it acts up. Anxiety can also cause tightness in the chest and throat. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.
