Need Help Supporting Someone with Clinical Depression

how do u guys get through depressive episodes? im having a really hard time getting out of this one and it’s scaring me. im in college and im missing classes and i can’t get myself to do my assignments, im just laying in bed on my phone feeling awful but i can’t pull myself out of it i don’t see my new psychiatrist for another few weeks but i really need help right now n i dunno what to do honestly there’s someone new i’ve been seeing too and i’ve been really off recently and i don’t want to tell them what’s going on with me but i might have to soon because it’s affecting how i am with them it’s just been really hard to be a living functional human and i genuinely can’t figure out how people do it i don’t feel like i’m here as a person but no one really gets it idk any tips for at least trying to force yourself out of this? or should i just wait for it to pass

my depression is approaching a level of rock bottom i haven’t seen before. i don’t know why but i feel like my mental health right now is the worst it’s ever been. i feel so out of control of everything and it’s starting to effect my school and work. it’s so hard to get out of bed and anytime i’m not home i just want to cry. this emotional pain is the worst i’ve ever felt, and it just sits in my chest all day. very few things even make me smile and i’ve almost relapsed from years of being clean from self harm. i have no friends to talk to and i worry about my family being sad about me, so i can’t talk to them about it either. i’m dating someone but lately it seems like he’s just annoyed anytime i try to talk to him about how i’m feeling. i cant afford my medications or therapy right now, so i don’t know what i can do to help myself. i feel like i’m in a downward spiral to my demise and i don’t know how to stop it or at least slow it down so i’m not hurting so much every second of every day.

Someone, please read this. My boyfriend is going through a really bad depressive episode and I know I cant help and its breaking me. I feel close to nothing Im so upset Im helplessly watching my darling fade away, he isnt himself. Hes going to bed early and waking up late, hes not finding joy in anything. I just want to hold him but not even that would help, we met at a hospital for mental health and he said he was so happy and now hes slipping back into the mindset and i feel not enough a little. I just wish I could make him as happy as he does me:( I just want tk help Im sobbing rn Im so shaky I cant lose him I feel so useless. Im going through alot rn too, but it doesnt matter I cant watch him slip anymore its hurting so bad I just want my gage back
