Does anyone else SERIOUSLY struggle with sex? I also have CFS which makes me exhausted so that’s just a bonus. I love my partner and I do physically/emotionally enjoy sex with him, he’s the only person I’ve ever climaxed with (it was only once) but I’m extremely avoidant of sex still. I feel safe with him and we’ve had gentle convos about some past trauma but it feels like more than that. It feels like a daunting chore most days but when i’m actually in it I enjoy it. Anyone else?

Fatigue can really muck up your sex drive. I'd say get your hormone levels checked to rule out any underlying hormonal conditions, and look into low impact forms of intimate play to help sex be a little more fun and less tiring. Also, nutritionally, think about treating it like a workout (because it really is). Get you some pre-work out beforehand and a glass of chocolate milk and a burrito afterwards. I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist, but I had pretty serious fatigue and drive issues associated with PCOS before I got on hormone therapy, and even still I struggle with fatigue. I hope this helps.

@squeekyjaxx Wow, I’ll be honest I always tried to avoid thinking of it like a workout because it almost felt disrespectful but for some reason you phrasing it that way makes it feel totally fine! It IS a workout, but one I get to do naked with my partner that feels good! Nothin wrong with that. Thank you so much!!

As an asexual who isn't sex-repulsed but doesn't exactly want it, either, I feel that. Maybe you're on the ace spectrum somewhere. Sex drive can fluctuate.

@Zoinks Almost more to learn about ourselves :) I’m not sure what it is yet, but thank you for sharing! 🤗
