i struggle with identity issues frequently, i don’t seem to know who i am and don’t fit into any groups. i’ve felt this way for years, and when i think of who i am, the only clear part of myself i can dig up is me as a child. does anyone else feel this way?

I understand completely. Sometimes it's like I just act certain ways with different people and so when I am alone I get confused about who I really am because I mask my own personality so often.

I wish I knew why, too.. it's a very lonely feeling. Often leaves me questioning my reality, even. It feels like there's something more, but you spend forever trying to figure out what it is.

@CloudyDayEnthusiast i dissociate a lot too so it can add on to the feeling of being lost. it can be discouraging

@Strawberry_Swisher i’ve never thought abt this but it makes sense. i seem to be well received among different groups of ppl and i think it confuses me and my “place”.
