Struggling with Identity and Acceptance

There are a lot of people who will accept you just as you are

For me, I understand where you come from on the perfection front. Perfect never existed, nor will it. History proves it. Science proves it. Emotion proves it. So, honestly? Be the best you possible. The flaws adds to your character anyway. In addition, I have found ways to embrace my flaws with glee: make it something you're enthusiastic about! Example below, but it will seem aggressive: "So what if I'm not perfect? Who declared "perfect" as the ideal approach anyway! Do you know who I am? I'm the one who's going to prove I am stronger than your doubt! You have no chains on me! Watch me fly, as you allow your pride to fluster and blind you!" Something like that.

So many people will accept you! I do and I know several others who love people no matter race, gender or sexuality. It's hard to know who they are but they are out there and always willing to make more friends

If it helps, I accept you and a thousand other people in the world accept you. This is what I think, if your parents don't love you just because you like the same gender or smoke out of a lil vape pen, then that's sad and that's on them. That just means they're not good parents. Perhaps go find some people to support you and love you, there's always someone to love, my friend 💙
