Struggling with Endo/Adenomyosis: Seeking Relief

Had a gynecologist who got weirdly angry at me when I had to stop taking LoLo, too. She told me my only choices were "either take the pills or be in pain" 🙄 and wouldn't offer me any other kind of help. Basically didn't want to see me anymore unless I kept taking those pills. I was in the same boat as your with the worsening periods, hopelessness, and being unable to get out of bed or eat. Personally the Depo shot worked for me once I found a different doctor who offered it to me. I've been on it a few years already with no problems or side effects even though I was expecting the worst thanks to bad experiences with other stuff I'd tried before. It doesn't work for everyone but weirdly enough it works great for me and I love not having to deal with those terrible periods I was going through before.

Excision for my endo was the best thing. Hysto will cure adeno, but has no impact on endo, so just be prepared to add excision to that hysto for proper treatment 🙂

I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis about 4 months ago. Was put on Tranexamic acid for 5 days, then put on Primolut N for 21 days after that. Bleeding stopped while on the tablets but started again as soon as i stopped. Now have the Mirena inserted. Unfortunately, the cramping and bleeding is still happening. Have been told to take the primolut N again for the next 3 months doing 21 days on and 7 off each time. If this doesn't work they have said a hysterectomy is the next step
