Oh gosh, I don't know how much more I can take of this! I've been off my Humira since January due to complications from Covid and Covid pneumonia. And now the pneumonia has made my asthma so much worse that every time I have an attack of coughing my entire back spasms and in turn I can't breathe. My dr finally refilled my Humira a couple of days ago and I was so excited to get a text that I had a script ready to pick up. I get to pharmacy and they're still waiting on a preauthorization from my primary care. Talk about a let down. My back is so tight it spasms when I try to relax even. Anyone have any ideas to relax? Flexoril doesn't help, moist heat doesn't help. I can't lay down flat.

I’m so sorry you are dealing with all of this. It shouldn’t be this hard to get the meds that you need

I’m not sure if your state has Good RX but if not you should ask the pharmacy if they have any programs to help you get your medication until you can get that pre authorization done. You might even get a reimbursement to back from your insurance.

I prop myself up with pillows to sleep sitting up my mother in law let me sleep in her recliner one day and wow was that a pain reliever. Vicks Vaporub helps with the costocondritis temporarily. Icy hot and painatrate also help. Getting the chest muscles to relax with a rub really helps me ger to sleep when my ribs are fusing to my spine. 💕Wishing you peace and contentment 💕you can get through this. The prior Auth is the biggest headache, but then it's good for a year..
