So now that my girlfriend is off my HUD... because she dumped me of course. Now that her SSI is not counted in and it's just me my rent has gone from $81 to $232!! They said I don't qualify for a 2 bedroom that I am in anymore. But yet there is not a single 1 bedroom apartment home on our place, open. I have looked for months. My rent would be $595 without HUD. I only make $841 and have to pay all my own utilities, storage, my phone, and a loan my late husband. (I took out in my name for another personal issue.) I can't afford all of this... it would leave me with $48 with all bills paid. I also have $4 copays on all my doctor appointments and meds too. I am on food stamps, but I don't know how much I will be getting because my girlfriend left. I just at a loss... I need help. I want to beg the landlord and co-landlord to lower my rent or figure something out. HUD doesn't seem to care and I want to sob my eyes out. I don't have anywhere to go, store my things, and might have to let go of my sweet dog! Plus, not be of my friends want to be roommates because of my dog! I also have zero friends because I have reborn/therapy dolls and am using the 2nd room as a nursery to house my dolls!
