Does anyone else struggle to keep up with med refills? My doctors’s nurse called me back today and went on a rant about me running out of my diabetic medication and calling them last minute for a refill. I was too upset to explain that I keep up with 8 different medications, all with different refill days and number of refills allowed. Many of them require refill appointments and I can’t take so much time off work. I constantly feel panic over medication running out and the auto-refills have made it only more complex. Neither the pharmacy nor docs seem to understand that running out of meds leads to feeling too ill or depressed to go out and get the new prescription either. My meds are life-dependent and I always feel like I’m teetering on the edge of severe illness/withdrawals!
