How does one stop from crying over every little thing? I cry way too much and over almost anything that upsets me such as being yelled at, not being listened to, and from being told I cry too much too, ironically. I deal with Autism and other conditions as well, but I've always been an emotional person, so I cry over sad things, angry things, happy things, you name it. But I'm just really tired of being told I cry too much or am being dramatic and/or a crybaby. I wish I had thicker skin and wasn't so emotional. I almost wish I could never cry honestly, that's how much the comments hurt me. If you have any advice, suggestions, stories, or if you simply relate, please comment your thoughts below! šŸ’—

Hey! so I actually deal with this too and have found myself feeling the same way a lot, I know it's not an easy feeling. in my experience focusing more on accepting that I'm an emotional person rather than trying to change it has been really helpful. crying isn't a bad thing and people who say you're too emotional probably never had the support to feel their own emotions. I also find guided meditations helpful sometimes. hope this helps!

Hi friend, I also cry all the time. At sad things, things that make me angry, but at happy things, too. I'm not quite sure why, but it seems like the tears are always there, right behind my eyes. I'm sorry I'm not more help, but know you're not alone!
