Hi has anyone had just a very small dilation of the aorta I only found out about this last summer and have to have a checked again could someone tell me how long they had theirs end of this progress or stay stable

happened to me a few years ago, basically they just check it every 6 months to a year with ultrasound, and unless it gets worse to the point of intervention being needed, that’s all that happens!

They had just found mine at 3.8 a couple months ago due to a rare disease I had gotten from my mother called Loeys-dietz Syndrome (much like Marfans). They are currently wanting to put me on heart meds to slow the process of it growing but my mother had an aneurysm at the age of 42.
