I'm unsure if I should go back to the Psych Ward. I was in there for a week in early October for suicidal ideation. It was really helpful for my depression and anxiety but I never brought up my OCD intrusive thoughts because I didn't realize that they weren't normal. I constantly have horrid intrusive thoughts that are violent against myself and others or disgustingly sexual. I'd ofc never act on these thoughts but they always make me feel horrible. I'd just feel bad burdening my family by being in the hospital again.

Improving your mental health is not a burden. Getting help is not a burden. You are not a burden.

maybe you could trying something outpatient if you arenā€™t wanting to go inpatient. if you think you need help though i think you should!! when i have to make decisions like this i always think if this was a physical injury/problem would i be so apprehensive to go to the doctor? you got this!!!

I went to one too. Didnā€™t help me at all. I feel I should go back again but I will continue to have the results.

@Lamunchkin I'm sorry it didn't help. Maybe you'll have a better experience if you go again.
