after 10+ years of symptoms, I finally got an RA diagnosis. this is not surprising because my mom has had RA since she was five years old, but all anyone wanted to do to test me was a serum test, which my mom is ALSO negative for despite having obvious and severe RA. someone finally said "let's get some X-rays" and lo and behold. periarticular osteopenia in my hands. insane play by my new GP
