Did you know that people say we are connected to everyone by just 10 or so people. That means today we could change the way we do things many social issues including mental health.
Hi, sounds very interesting. What do you mean by changing the way we do things with many social issues including mental health? I would love to hear your ideas!
Hi David. There is a lot goings on. I think that our mind is more fragile than our body. Meaning that you can damage it way to easily and it won't heal like our body does. One social issue I can tell you we have is our current use of technology. We have done a terrible job raising our children with technology. They aren't developing good social skills. Their body knows that it is not getting the proper amount of interaction with others which is causing all kinds of mental health problems. When you develop depression it is not you. It is something that you have, like a cancer. Even if it gets treated you can have permanent damage.
you're right! Scientists say that we're connected by around 4 people now. It helps by knowing that all we have to do is convince 4 people that technology is hurting our children and then they need to do the same. That will theoretically make the change we need. Kids and technology is just one issue that could stop many school incidents.
