I haven't worked since 2020, and I lost my job in part due to my Postpartum Depression. I've been a stay at home mom to two toddlers as well as a full time student and I find myself wishing I wasn't a stay at home mom. I am struggling so bad.
After 6 months of being a stay at home mom I was going crazy and felt like I lost myself but ever since I’ve been back to work I’ve had terrible mom guilt, there is no winning with ppd one way or another we will always beat our selves up
I’m a stay at home mom and student too! It definitely wears on you and makes life exhausting. I feel drained all the time. Only thing helping me now is knowing once I graduate I’ll be able to work somewhere I love and I make sure to spend an hour every night alone doing something that I enjoy to make sure I prioritize my health and happiness too
