@novennah I was diagnosed st 2 even though they had an idea at birth. I had 1 grand mal every 2 yrs till puberty (10 yo) then it switched to petit Mal seizures which happened more frequently. At 30, I had brain surgery. I still take carbatrol, with the exception of 3 seizures ii had for not taking my meds, as long as I take it, I'm seizure free. It's been 25 years.

I mostly have grand mal seizures. Diagnosed in 5th grade when I was about 11 or 12. Took meds until I turned 18, then weaned myself off of them because I hated the way they made me feel. Did great through the stresses of college and early marriage and parenthood, until I turned 29. Had a seizure while pregnant with my son. Went back on new meds and have been on them for 11 years. I am now 38. I do experience auras and blurry vision before a seizure. How about you? What's your story?
Hi there. How long have u had epilepsy for? What type?
@dovidsabba I responded, but forgot to tag you. Look around and you'll probably see my response somewhere, lol.
