So, I can make your physical chronic pain worse my making your migraines last way longer and be more drug resistant. AND make your mental illnesses worse by heightening your anxiety and depression while also triggering your gender dysphoria so hard you debate giving yourself top surgery with a paper slicer. Sound good?
Me:
You forgot the debilitating fatigue and lovecraftian cramps that give me the fantasies of taking my uterus out via seppuku.
On a brighter note: I finally have an answer as to why my periods have been getting progressively worse and will be going on medication to fix that very very soon.
I have this kind of period too š it's worth looking into PME (pre menstrual exacerbation) and PMDD (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder). PMDD is more of a standalone condition, while PME refers to the worsening of symptoms from your other conditions based on your cycle - PME is what I consider myself to have
Turns out that part of it is that I have apparently been getting cysts on my ovaries forever, but my birth control had always been suppressing their ability to burst so I never felt them??? Got all the other symptoms though. Only took 15 years to find something because I threw the word Endometriosis out there and finally made someone concerned.
