hoping to find an answer to this! i used to get corticosteroid shots to reduce the size of the keloids but it didn’t help. where are most of your keloids located? for me it’s my shoulders and upper arms

I received steroid shots before. The first time helped, but then it came back bigger years later. I received two more shots after that, and they didn’t work.

Damn that's so crazy hearing shots didn't work I kinda wanted to try them 😥 Ive had scars from about 8 years ago, I used scar creams or patches... if it's bright out and I'm wearing shorts you can see the outlines, or if I'm wearing thin leggings you can see grooves/indents. But! Scar cream def helped me with discoloration, being puffy, bumpy, or raised, even itchy. Almost all of them are completely flat, not bumpy, match my natural skin color maybe even a little lighter, I do notice discoloration depending on the season. My scars will get kinda pink in the summer and more purple in the winter. I also don't regulate tempurature well so idk if that has st to do with it.
