The comment left by Kythereia is perfect!! But I would like to add one little thing I learned from my personal experience. If you’re looking to learn more about bpd, do not go to tiktok. It is the most invalidating and frustrating feeling when people post misinformation about “what bpd is” and the comments are flooded with people saying “omg I do these things…does that mean I have bpd🥺” maybe I’m just hateful but this made me completely question my diagnosis for a hot minute.

I fully agree with all that's been said. I also like Dr. Fox, he specializes in personality disorders and makes videos on YouTube. He provides the more clinical side which can be helpful. Lastly, know your limits. I know that movies with death can be extremely triggering for me, so I always look up the synopsis of a movie before watching it so I can avoid sad ones. It IS possible to live and function semi- normally, it just takes more effort for us.
