Starting a Liquid Diet for My Upcoming Esophageal Surgery

Today I start on a liquid diet for 2 weeks. On the 13th of June I am going to have a surgery for my accolasia esophageal type 3. I have never had this procedure done. I know of a friend that they had it done and it did good for them. But my calculation esophageal makes it very difficult for me to swallow liquids or food. After 2 weeks on liquid diet, I will be on a soft food diet then for two more weeks. That is so my esophagus can heal from the procedure they are going to do. The procedure is called P.O.E.M. Yeah I am a little anxious about this surgery coming up. Sorry for kind of jumping around on this. But I just needed to get this off my chest. Thank you for listening
