Who else has a hard time holding down a job for very long? I have had so many jobs in my life because I just get to a point for one reason or another I don't like it or I'm unhappy. The longest job I've ever kept was 2.5 years and I did miss a lot of work from depression but I stayed for that long. otherwise it's anywhere from 1-9 months. 😩 I wish I could hold a job down but I can't get past the "if I'm unhappy and I'm stressed wtf do I have to stay?" mentality. I just don't wanna be in a bad environment but I mean ALL jobs jobs have issues...anyways anyone else go through this??

@Serenity_Love I get so upset with myself and know that something is wrong but never know what .. and then my anxiety and depression go off the hinge

I have been told by many people that I will never hold down a job again. It's a hard pill for me to swallow but there are things you can do that make you feel really productive.

@Stumpy3 well I mean I can work and I am and need to for now. It's just I quit when I am unhappy.

I have the hardest time holding 👎 wn a job after I am done being trained... I don't always understand why I quit always and I don't know why I make excuses to not go in ... It's been over 10 years and I can't hold a job past maybe a month month and a half

@MeRiCa man that's gotta be hard. Like especially when you just don't know why you can't 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ive only had a few jobs, averaging about 3 years each, but I definitely get deeply unhappy after about 1-3 months... Not sure if it's just because I'm not doing what I love (working on it but the job market for my field is r o u g h) or if it's just the way I am...

In 2017 alone, I filed 10 different W-2 forms for different jobs (which does not include the digital W-2 forms that I lost in my cluttered email inbox). I am happy to say that I’ve finally stayed at a job and held it down for at least a year, but work is never easy and there will always be tedious stuff, but I gotta pay the bills somehow. What I do for a living is not my favorite thing in the world, but I do hope to go back to school soon and get an associates in something that’s more my passion. My advice is to find ways to make whatever job you have more tolerable. It may not be fun or everything you want to do in life, but if you can manage to make money and maintain some sort of financial stability, that’s a good thing and it goes a long way.

Same! This is a sign that it's time to work for self. Idc where I work or the company I am big on respect. Shit has gotten real, real in the job force. I've had 6 jobs in 1 year. Never feel bad for working and wanting to stay independent. It be like that.

@RareEyez86 for sure. It's all about respect and feeling safe and comfortable in the environment you work in. I won't settle for less than what I believe I deserve. Period.
