Feeling Defeated After a Successful Job Interview

for the first time i can remember, i had what felt like a phenomenally successful interview for a job i didnt know how much i wanted. that was until about an hour ago when i got the email saying they “arent moving forward with my application.” reading those words felt like a punch to the stomach and im not really sure how i can get out of my head. i feel such immense pain at this one minor setback, and dont know how i didnt realize the immense hope resting on this one success, and now everything just feels a little distant. i guess im just screaming into the void, and im not really sure writing this will accomplish anything. if you read this i love you and hope your day is going better than mine.
