Intense Fear of Needles - Anyone Else?

I am the same way and I don't understand and the worst part is crying Infront of the nurse/doctor especially with social anxiety..

oh man i used to deal with this all the time too, i get my blood drawn quite frequently so i think the exposure is what helped me the most. one time the guy put on the simpsons intro for me and he was finished before that was done and told me just about every blood drawing takes about that much time and for some reason that really helped me calm down about it. i still get anxious but i can calm down faster and easier than before by reminding myself ive done it before i can do it again it doesnt really take that long
