Hello, my name is Milo. I've recently went to a cleaning and am currently trying to better my gum health. I haven't been treating my mouth well, since even before covid and all the lock down stuff. I'm here to get some second opinions, advice, or just general conversations with people who have the same medical stuff as me.

A water pic will cut down your periodontal disease significantly. I put a tablespoon of peroxide in the reservoir. As for electric toothbrush, spend some money on a good one, a "sonic" toothbrush is different then electric. I use flouride free toothpaste and put a drop of tea tree oil on the bristles. It tastes like varnish, real disgusting. But, I did get used to it. Those little toothpicks with bristles "interdental brushes" should be used after meals. Simply disrupting plaque reduces tartar formation. I had advanced periodontal disease, I have not been to a dentist in 4years. My diligent methods have taken my oral health to a new level.

I have slight periodontal disease so idk how well my methods will work with yours. Not sure how much progression yours is in but i can say, Look up top dental approved electric toothbrushes and pick the right one for you Change your diet thats better for your oral health and overall health Incorporate more water in your life ; less sugars Get gum healing specific fluoride toothpaste Brush twice a day, mouthwash and floss seriously You will see good results! There is light at the end of the tunnel with this stuff.

Hi! It is indeed a struggle, I suggest starting with a good electric toothbrush!
