I used to get stressed out and go lock myself in the bathroom, pace, then pass out from all the tension. It’s like terrible anxiety and depression but I either get super hyper and overworked or I stay over calm physically and my brain just can’t handle it and I pass out. Similar to passing out in extreme pain to protect your brain from overload. I had to try so hard for about three hours the other day to stop this from happening again. :/ I’m not glad it’s back, it’s been years.

I am so sorry this has returned for you, truly. I am able to relate in many ways. I have something a lil’ similar… I suffer from anxiety, mdd, ptsd, etc., but, then a few years ago, I began developing ‘something’ else entirely. When I would get a panic attack or nearly one and it would develop into a seizure. I had a couple of doctors decide that it was a form of disassociation. Since then, I was diagnosed w/ pseudo-seizures but a year or two later I was diagnosed w/ epilepsy. My present psychiatrist (who is a God-send!) has had experience w/ couple others with similar diagnoses and he firmly believes that these patients have had at least one real seizure, but the brain-body continues to replicate the scenario, as a protective mechanism (I also suffer from permanent intractable pain). If you ever want to chat, I am here. I made numerous changes in my life and although the physical pain remains, I am far better off than b4. I wish you healing, relief and comfort. Bless you
