I just got back from a trip recently and I find that I'm usually the one who has to sacrifice themselves for everyones benefit. They're not mean or toxic but my needs aren't as important as those needs of the people around me. it helps ease the load a lot but everyone else is just counting to be selfish I guess I'm just a bit tired of it but it's the only thing I can do for my family for now
I know exactly how you feel. It's been like that for me. You feel like you give all of yourself and more to help people and make others happy, but you feel like no one really notices or thanks you for it, and it makes you feel worthless and not wanted. It's a terrible thing to deal with, I get it. If you need someone to vent to or an ear, feel free to reach out.
