Hi how does everyone get motivated to get more active?

Being part of a group challenge helps me sometimes. Also I’m bad about procrastinating so this week I’m trying to set a timer for my boring daily tasks so I get them done faster. I feel like I have more time to take care of myself now. Less excuses not to go for a walk.

Get a friend to go with u each time. That way if u miss they will be upset so u have motivation

I think knowing how great I feel after being active and how much healthier I become is the biggest motivation. Also remembering that something is better then nothing so even if you miss a day or didn’t work as hard as you wanted doesn’t mean the effort you put forth isn’t valuable.
I use scheduling to try to keep myself out and about. So for instance today I have “walk“ scheduled in for 230. Now I may not take it at 2:30 but it will be in my mind to get it done before sunset. And I probably will.
Definitely one ☝️ day at a time @chicapicante!!!!! But; I can sometimes go days to a week with mental illness and depression that I can’t even leave my bed blankets let alone get motivated. But I say sometimes you have to just push yourself. Good 😌 luck 🍀 🙌 ❤️ 🙏 ✌️
