Hi. I was diagnosed with IBS 20-something years ago. I've been dealing with it and treating it as IBS all this time. My IBS had been getting worse and worse so I sought out a colon and rectal specialist. I was at the point where I stayed in bed all the time, ALL the time. The specialist did a CT scan and they found I have an ovarian cyst and the lining of my uterus is think. If the cyst is pressing against my bowels or, something like that, it could be causing all the IBS symptoms. 20 years of trying to treat IBS and may not even have it. I'm thrown for a loop. I'm upset that I have to start all over again. This is overwhelming.
