I just got my first job at 21 and I’m horribly nervous about it, my first day was yesterday and I was bombarded with so much information and I didn’t take any notes… I’m so nervous and sad to have this job now…

I started my first job a couple of months ago! It is scary at first, but you'll become more comfortable as time passes! And don't be afraid to ask questions when you don't know how to do something. There will always be people who can help you! Also, don't forget that everyone started where you are right now!!!

I just started a new job and I was so scared that I was gonna do bad, but it's okay! Just remember that you don't have to be perfect at it right away! You got this!!

It’s ok! I never remember what they tell me. Don’t tell them that exactly but definitely ask questions if you need to. I’m always nervous starting a job or new job but just take your time and try to practice breathing if you need to or whatever you need to make things easier for you.

Remember you are new to this job, and no one is expecting you to be perfect. I messed up so much when i first started working, everyone does, and that’s okay! Knowledge comes with experience, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Starting a new job is always nerve racking but once you get the hang of things, it will be like second nature!

It always feels like that at first! It's okay, you're learning! As long as you try your best and ask questions when your unsure you should get the hang of it! Don't stress yourself out, you're doing fine 😊

I'm 31 and I started a new job about 3 weeks ago. I was so scared and nervous and didn't really take notes. It's totally valid to feel nervous at any new job no matter your age. Ask a lot of questions. Ask the same question if you have to. Always be open to learning. It's okay to make mistakes or not be sure. You could also ask a more experienced coworker and that's a good way to build relationships. I think the first month or so is the hardest and then you slowly start to settle in.

One thing that my prof told me is that if you’re afraid or anxious about something, do it afraid.
