Woke up with stomach pain and blood in stool, what should I do?

This is embarrassing but I need to know what to do Today at 3 AM I woke up with stomach pain and had diarrhea I noticed blood when I was wiping (it wasn't a lot but still worrying) I had 3 bathroom trips I think it ended at 5-6 AM I've been fine since ? Is that normal? Should I go to the doctor?

I think it would be best if you went to see the doctor. I don't know how severe your symptoms are, but a doctor would. I occasionally get blood in my stool, but I don't do anything about it unless it's been multiple days. Please note I've had prior diagnosis as to why it occurred. If you don't have a diagnosis, get one then keep it in mind in the future.
