With everything else I've got goin on, I've been pretty much stuck in the house doing nothing for a couple years now. Which makes it really hard to keep on keepin on. I can't drive, I can't work, I can't really exercise, I can't even really be alone for extended periods of time. I spend my days sad, out of it, dizzy and sometimes nauseous. Life is looking less and less worth it. Idk what kind of responses I'm looking for but I mostly just needed to get this off my chest.

I just wanted to comment and let you know you’re not alone. My ptsd has been so bad lately I have trouble driving at all. I’ve been doing exposure therapy to work through this whole thing. I went from not being able to go outside without complete panic, to being able to sit in my car in the driveway for a couple minutes to now being able to get to places within 20 min of my house. It’s been months though. Long process for me and I’m also stuck at home 99% of the time. It’s so hard. If you want to talk more about that or anything you can message me though! I hope you’re able to find a good therapist as well. It makes all the difference. I see mine online as well as psychiatrist. Physical symptoms will slowly fade away the more you heal. I know it’s so hard to not give up. Keep pushing forward, you can do this!!

I relate to this so much. The medications really help, but they can only do so much, and there isn't a medication that can fix loneliness and boredom. I'm always here if you need a listening ear, however!

Don’t forget that there’s so many people here to support you! If I get stuck in a rut, I find meditation helps me at least get back to doing some activity. But if you ever need to rant or anything feel free to DM me, I’d be happy to listen/help if I can

@Yuna I've tried a few different meds and they react badly with everything else going on with me, so I end up generally worse before they have time to actually work to make me feel better emotionally.

@PunkBoi have you tried to do the gene testing? I was having bad reactions until doing that test which narrowed down better options to test out. Might be worth looking into!

@PunkBoi Have you tried any sort of breathing exercise or yoga, things like that? Those were the types of activities I meant by meditation. Sometimes it’s a struggle for me to click on the video but once I start the guided breathings I usually feel a lot better (I personally use an app called Headspace but there’s tons of free stuff out there). They don’t have to be long either, most of mine are only 3 minutes long.
