You guys ever feel like ‘well maybe I’m faking it?’. Like it’s weird. I guess I would be the host and I’m not entirely sure we even have DID/OSDD but Ven and the others know we are a system. But I still feel like a fake sometimes.

the thing with DID and OSDD, they're covert disorders. no one, including you, are supposed to know you're a system. the feeling that you're faking is there to try and protect you from realizing you have trauma. it's completely normal, and you are not faking <3

Yes! Usually until a little comes, they help us feel more "real." It also helps me to remember that I have learned through therapy that a lot of the time you think the system isn't real so you forget you're a system. I think about it like, our brains created our systems for a reason and by increasing communication we are messing up the work our brains did. So it tries to make us think we made it all up.

Yeah. One of my alters, my cohost, has to remind me all the time he and the other alters are still there. Not that I forget it, but I try denying it

That happens often and with a lot of my alters. I've been gaslit constantly throughout my life so it really makes it difficult to trust my own experiences

Completely relatable!! I feel like I'm always faking, even with evidence right in front of me😥

yeah I get like this all the time but then I remember the facts like how I lose track of time and dissociate then come back in a different outfit or something
