Feeling Disconnected: Is It Normal?

I feel like I'm losing more and more of my days to this odd fogginess in my mind. Luke my life doesn't feel real and I'm watching some movie. Does that happen to anyone else often? Or is it something I should ask a doctor about?

Can you help? connect today

Some people are going through the same thing. When I get really depressed and don't have anyone and my days go by so fast like a movie. But I still think you should talk to a doctor about it to see if they can recommend something that can help. Ever need to talk? I am here.

It’s derealization and dissociation. I can relate to this a lot. Sometimes I’ll zone out a whole bus ride and be unaware of how I got to my location. It can be hard to break out of them. Anyways I support you and understand and believe in you to get through it.<3

This happens way more often than I care to admit. You are not alone.

Disassociative disorders, or depression can cause this symptom. I suggest talking to your therapist, especially if you have childhood trauma. -Frederick
