Stuffing and wet bread I just hate when something on my plate touches my bread and get it wet it's kinda hard to explain the texture but I spit it out 😝😂

I don't have many sensory issues with food but there is one certain kind of texture that really bothers me. Certain soft, saucy, thick foods, like mandarin oranges or thick pasta sauce for example, give me a weird tickling sensation in the roof of my mouth. It's very bothersome and kinda feels like a feather were gently poking my soft pallette every few seconds for a few minutes. It's a real shame, I really love mandarin oranges but I just deal with it :/

Any well done meat, it's so dry and- itchy. Not literally itchy but itchy.

Gelatinous stuff (esp. jello), stuff with random chunks (whole wheat bread for example), dried things, slimy things (beans, cooked vegetables/fruit, etc.), I love the taste of mochi but it makes me gag because of the texture of the dough, nuts (feels like chewing soggy wood or something), a lot of things that have an unpredictable texture (again with the chunks, stuff that has mushy bits, etc.), anything mushy that isn't intended to be (sad grapes and stuff), broccoli and things like it, probably other stuff- in my case, my autism leaves me with a very low variety of food to choose from

I have ARFID and I avoid a lot. Recently I couldn't handle anything crunchy. Now I can eat fries (which are more crispy imo) and pickles but generally other things that make noise when you chew are out. So no nuts or potato chips. Just the thought horrifies me. I also hate the texture of beans, steamed vegetables and quinoa. The list goes on but I'll stop there lol. It's a much shorter list to just say what I do like tbh.

I don’t like steamed vegetables for some reason. Especially the cauliflowers, doesn’t taste or feel right. Other than that though, I don’t really have any sensory issues with food nowadays. In fact I find many of my neurotypical friends are more pick eaters than me lmao.

I have less sensory issues with food than my kids do but for me I don't like slimey textures (like jello or baked beans or mashed bananas) and I can't eat anything cooked in like corn husks or banana leaves. It makes my teeth feel weird. I do LOVE mushy foods like mashed potatoes or pea soup or apple sauce. And like cheddar cheese like just taking a bite out of a block feels so good.
