alters all form because of trauma, to try and cope with it, but there are alters who dont have specific trauma or possibly any trauma at all. we have a lot of fictives who formed simply because we found them comforting and relatable. they made us feel better. we have a mood booster, jasper, who doesnt have any trauma because their 'job' is to be happy and make us happy as a whole to deal with our trauma and anxiety and depression -cody
