Has anyone tried the most recent antidepressants? Please what is out there. I am clinically depressed for over 40 years. Tried just about all of the older ones. Back to Prozac....NOT working. Thanks, Poet

I’ve tried so many meds with horrible side effects. So far this has been the only good medicine for me. Amitriptyline 25mg 1-2 at bedtime. It helps me with Anxiety/Depression/Insomnia/NervePain. Unfortunately I’ve gained a lot of weight though. It’s an older, cheap medication, but it’s been my saving grace for many years now. (((AirHugs))) to find the best treatment that works best for you. 🙏🏼
Hi, Poet! I’m on generic Lexapro (escitalopram), 20mg and also generic Wellbutrin (buproprion hcl), 150mg. It’s not a miracle cure, but definitely helps with keeping up with the day-to-day and taking care of myself. Lexapro alone made me ridiculously tired, but the addition of Wellbutrin helped with that. One side effect that I warn, though, is that upping my dosage of Lexapro from 10mg to 20mg made me gain a lot of weight. Best of luck!

Feeling so out of sorts. Depression has hit me really bad since this morning...my anxiety too. Just so thankful to have found ALIKE. You guys are truly the shoulder for me to lean on and the virtual hug I so often need. I'm 72yrs. It's become such a long hall all these years you know. 🙏for all. Poet

I'm on Wellbutrin. It's not for everyone and I still have depressive episodes on it, but it doesn't make me numb like prozac did though
I am on Trintellix. It has worked out for me for a while but I think I need to try something else or add something to it. I am starting to want to sleep more and not wanting to do anything!
It sounds like me! I’m on Effexor and escitalapram(I don’t think I spelled that last one correctly)
