how do I stop self harming? it's not crazily dangerous in the way I'm doing it but since I found out that what I do classes as sh it's made me paranoid ever since. if I'm really upset, angry or something to the point I'm almost in tears, I'll roll my sleeve up and bite my arm as hard as I can to focus on something else. I use to do it when I was maybe 8 or older but never for the intention of hurting myself. only recently I realised I was doing it again but I found myself doing it to hurt myself. also, if something happens, I'll try find something sort of sharp for my wrists - but not something that'll go deep. I get the urge to self harm but I feel as if I'm doing it for attention although im by myself when it happens - obviously im not it just feels like that.
