My Mom is Ruining My Life

Since you’re 18, it is really up to you now. You’re an adult and it’s up to you if you want to do it or not. Sometimes when someone is so controlling it can actually be emotional abuse. The best thing I can say is possibly move out if it’s that bad.

@Suze she thinks different about me.she say "your not an adult until your out my house" her house,her rules BUT my body my,rules. My choice to do with my body have nothing to do with her house or rules.i feel like she is. Making excuses just so I don't cut my hair. Which I feel like their is nothing wrong with cutting hair,nor it's disrespectful.i try to have a conversation with her,but every time I do (this is every time) she says and thinks talking back is "disrespectful" well if it is than how can I talk to her about thinks if it's disrespectful I though it was having a conversation not "talking back"

@KayKay I think your right,she told me I would be "hurting the family" (she was saying her she is the "family")she told me that she said that "you can cut it went am 25" and she said if I still cut it I will get whooped for cutting it.

Well you're 18 so she really can't have so much control over you because you are an adult. The best thing you can do is create some boundaries around her need to control you. Are you working at all? If so use that money to establish some independence and that is the goal you want to achieve.
