Oh my friend, I completely understand what you’re going through!! I’ve had Lupus for about 12 years now and it’s completely turned my life upside down sadly. I’m handicapped from the steroids as the side effects of them are bone loss, wasn’t aware of that and now I can’t use my kegs because they can break at any moment. I’ve already shattered my ankle, have pins and rods in it 😣. Still hurts!! I also have horrible anxiety and wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone!!
My Drs we only giving my 6 months to a year to live and I’m still alive and kicking thank God!! But they finally found a medication to help my Lupus flare ups called Acthar Gel… that with 14 rounds of Chemotherapy with Cytoxin saved my life!! I wouldn’t b here today if it weren’t for my wonderful Rheumatologist!! He’s a true life saver!! Great dr!!

Mine is purple for Lupus Awareness!!! Always have loved Purple!! I have Lupus and it’s such a painful, cruel, horrible disease that is so misunderstood by so many people sadly. But I’m still alive and kicking!! My Drs gave me 6 months to a year to live and that was 12 years ago!! Haha 😂, I’m still here!! So blessed to b able to see my kids and 6 month old grandson grow up!!
