Feeling Alone and Isolated

So do I... I feel like my friends are giving up on me/ignoring me and it hurts a lot

I feel alone sometimes. My entire family has mental illnesses and I am the first one to learn the skills needed to endure. It's hard to see my family suffer as I am learning to cope.

It’s so impossible not to feel alone. No matter how close people get to me, it feels impossible to connect with them. I understand. From someone who is alone and won’t let you in, I hope I can offer some solace and comfort with the words: I feel ya and understand ya

I know I've spoken to a couple of you, but if any of you are feeling lonely/isolated and have FB, I'm an admin for a group called Spooniemail, and we're a great community (imo). Apply to join if you want to. We're a closed group because of how personal these conditions can be, but as long as you are a Spoonie (a chronic illness survivor), and you agree to the rules, we accept everyone.
